Individuals of All Ages with Special Needs

Family members must have time to attend to their own needs in order to be good caregivers themselves. Personal Care Services

At All Embracing Home Care, we provide in-home care services that can help prolong independent living. Our interactive caregiving approach transforms day-to-day caregiving into opportunities for meaningful interactions.

Grooming, and Hygiene
All Embracing Home Care’s goal is to assist our clients with their personal care routines so they can look and feel their best. Studies have proven how effective and positive it is for seniors to have regular hygiene and grooming. For clients who fear falling while bathing, or have physical or cognitive limitations that make bath-time difficult, our Care Managers are there to help. We can assist with shampooing, shaving (with an electric shaver), hair combing and styling, and other grooming needs.
Transferring and Positioning
One of our top priorities is helping our clients move around their homes. This may include getting in and out of bed, chairs, and wheelchairs. Proper transferring and positioning can contribute to reducing bedsore risks. This also helps reduce muscle atrophy, while encouraging proper breathing and digestion. It can also lower the risk of falls and injuries, as well as keep our clients as comfortable as possible.
Mobility Assistance
Remaining active in your golden years is one of the best ways to maintain the quality of life. Our Care Managers help seniors remain active by assisting them in getting from place to place in comfort and safety.
Maintaining a healthy, nutritious diet can impact well-being and vitality across the board. In fact, many of our seniors have prescribed meal plans they must stick to for health reasons. Whether you’re looking for help adhering to a special diet or just want to improve nutrition, our Care Managers can help. They also provide companionship, turning meals into social time by engaging with seniors while they eat. The positive environment helps them feel more relaxed. Supervision also makes certain your loved ones get proper nourishment. Our Care Managers help certain clients stay on prescribed diets to prevent or control a wide variety of medical conditions like heart disease, diabetes, and osteoporosis. Our Care Managers also help clients plan menus to promote disease prevention, healing, and healthy living. We make an extra effort to turn meals into enjoyable social​ time by engaging our clients in conversation over food.
Toileting and Incontinence Care

We understand the sensitive nature of toileting and incontinence care for our clients. Without proper help, seniors can face many issues. These may include skin infections, unpleasant odors, and general general hygiene problems. Our Care Managers offer compassionate, dignified help with these personal aspects of daily living.

Companion Care Services

Grocery Shopping & Errands
Getting around can be difficult for seniors, especially if they are unable to drive. Our Care Managers take care of this problem by running around for you. This can include grocery shopping and other errands, such as stopping at the pharmacy or post office. Your loved ones are welcome to stay home or come along for the ride as a way to stay active.
Being out and about benefits a senior’s mind, body, and spirit. It’s an integral part of All Embracing Home Cares’ interactive caregiving. For older adults unable to drive, our Care Managers provide transportation incidental to other services, such as medical appointments, barbershops, beauty salons, and shopping. Just about anywhere your senior wants to go, our Care Managers can help them get there.
Meal Preparation
Daily tasks, like meal preparation, can be a lot of work for seniors. Our Care Managers step in and help in the kitchen when needed. They cook hot and wholesome meals to meet nutritional and dietary needs. Your loved ones are always welcome to work alongside their Care Manager during meal prep. This time spent working together is an excellent opportunity for social interaction and conversation.
Medication Reminders
Although our Care Managers cannot administer medications, they can assist in ensuring that clients take their medication as prescribed. Our Care Managers can help with opening medication containers, reading labels, and reminding the client when it is time for the next dose.
Light Housekeeping
Our Care Managers are available to provide light housekeeping. Our services include vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, mopping, cleaning bathrooms (sinks, tubs, showers, and toilets), cleaning kitchens (sinks, appliances, counters, and taking out the trash), straightening all rooms, organizing closets and drawers, and cleaning any interior windows reachable without a ladder.
Grooming Guidance
Paying particular attention to grooming can help a senior feel and look better. As a person ages, grooming can sometimes present physical challenges. Our Care Managers assist clients with shampooing, shaving, hair combing and styling, and other grooming needs so seniors can look and feel their best.
Our Care Managers can take care of all laundry needs, either in the home or at a nearby laundromat. These services may include washing, drying, ironing, and putting clean laundry away.

Developmental Disabilities

Residential Habilitation
This service is made available to eligible individuals through the home and community based services waiver for the purpose of assisting the participant with acquiring, improving, and retaining skills in self-help, general household management, personal finance management, socialization and other adaptive areas, to enable the participant to reside as independently as possible in the community.
Independent Habilitation
Independent Habilitation services are formalized training and Direct Support Professionals (DSP’s) provided to an individual on a regular, but not on a daily basis for fewer than 24-hours a day. This service is designed to assist with and develop self-help, socialization, and adaptive skills that improve the person’s ability to live independently and participate in an integrated community.
Family Support Services
Refers to services, supports, and other assistance, providing eligible families with members who have developmental disabilities. Services are designed to; strengthen the families’ role as primary caregiver; prevent inappropriate out-of-the-home placement of the members and maintain family unity, reunite families with members who have been placed out of the home whenever possible.
Individual Employment Supports
A plan which describes the nature and scope of rehabilitation, employment, and training services provided to an individual with a disability to help them reach his or her employment goals.
Extended Home Health Care Services
This service is made available through the home and community based services waiver to eligible participants living with a primary caregiver who have maximized the amount of services available under the state plan. This service is provided to assist the participant to remain in a family home setting for as long as possible.
